I was having problems with my z which started electrically and it all ended in a big disaster that is now a complete rebuild but anyways before it all unfolded to what is now my rebuild i cleaned and rebuild all that I could surrounding the battery and i found a night and day difference just with the replacement of terminals and posts and some baking soda and water solution and a tooth brush, also the camshaft position sensor was not working correctly and i replaced mine with a new one. hopefully your problem isn't that because it came out to being an expensive part.
